HERE IS A LITTLE HISTORY
Journey, not a Destination… As an assistant for Kenny Lakins, Andy Crist earned top honors at many major NSBA futurities, The Quarter Horse Congress, and the AQHA World Show aboard such horses as Gone Western, The Good Kind, Shethinkshesomething, In Good Taste, Hotrod Be Easy, and many others. “In the three years I worked with Kenny, he gave me the opportunity to ride and show many great horses and allowed me to develop myself as an individual rider. I can’t say enough about my experience working with Kenny, he remains a close friend and business associate.” In 2004 Crist opened his own training facility and has had the good fortune of training a number of notable show horses including champions Tell Her Shes Hot, A Moonlit Invitation, Good Turbulence, Dee Sensation, Miss Hottie and Zipmister. “My customers have given me the opportunity to work with some very talented individuals and I’m very grateful for their confidence and trust in my program.” In 2006 Crist married his wife, Megan. No stranger to the show pen, The year 2009 brought about many new and exciting things for Crist Show Horses. To accommodate the growing business, a plan for new barn construction was put into action in the fall. “This improved facility will enable us to better serve our customers and provide a safe and more comfortable experience for the horse during the training process. Stop by for a visit, we would love to show you around.” Andy is a graduate of Wittenberg University with a double English degree. Megan is a graduate of The University of Dayton’s School of Business. |

We at Crist Show Horses take pride in the fact that our passion is our work and our work is our passion. Our mission is to help each individual achieve their goals; be it a World Championship or a fun ride at a local show! While specializing in Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle, we also enjoy working with a variety of disciplines including Western Riding and other pattern classes. Many of our horses have proven to enjoy a long and successful show careers based on the strong foundation and principals of our program. In addition, we strongly believe in continually bettering ourselves as horsemen and strive to pass the same appreciation along to our clients. Success is a 
Megan had previously earned many national Non Pro titles aboard Duplicate Impulse and Ima Lopin Fool under the guidance of Troy Compton. More recently, she has earned multiple NSBA futurity, Congress, and World Show honors aboard Good Turbulence and Dee Sensation. “We feel very blessed to be able to share our love of great horses. We are each other’s biggest cheerleader in the stands and are always there as a reminder of what is really important, win or lose. Our goal is to help our customers succeed in the show pen, while at the same time keep everyone involved and having fun!”
